About
When I started on my yoga journey, I wanted to balance out all the high impact activities I did. I thought yoga would turn me into a flexible, supple person who could touch their toes with ease. I thought it might help with the chronic back pain that was already hampering my ability to take part in the sport I loved and sometimes, robbing me of sleep.

After twenty years, I know that regular yoga practice can transform our minds as well as our bodies. I find it much easier to relax, to wind down and have a much greater level of patience than before. I still can't comfortably touch my toes without bending my knees, but yoga has taught me how I can open up the tight areas in my body, bring release and relief. Yoga has taught me that there are real benefits from learning to let go, of muscle tension, of our breath and of unsuitable ambitions.
