One-to-Ones

Fees for one-to-one classes are negotiated depending on your requirements and usually cost £30 per session. These classes take place in our family home in Strathpeffer, in a well lit, comfortable room, over looking the picturesque village. If you'd prefer, I can come to your location.

Focus on breath. Focus on movement.

The style of yoga in these classes is gentle and tailored very much to your individual needs. No two bodies are the same, so we all look different when we practice yoga. What comes easy to one person, may be very challenging to another - or feel very different for you from one day to the next. We focus on how yoga feels, not what it looks like.
Yoga for Cancer & Other Conditions

Yoga can help everyone to find balance in body, mind and spirit. It can help to calm your mind so that you can manage the feelings, emotions and some of the symptoms that may come with your diagnosis and treatment.

If we’ve not practised yoga before, we might think of yoga purely in terms of the physical poses, but there are many facets to yoga practice which can help ease the journey through cancer or other treatment and beyond.

We can adapt yoga practices to be based in a chair or even in bed, for those who are low in energy we can use breathing exercises, visualisation and meditation to help balance body and mind, helping you to feel at ease and function better. There are some practises that can help to alleviate symptoms and side-effects such as tiredness, pain, nausea, sleep problems and depression. Post-treatment, yoga can be a gentle way to help you to be physically active and remain calm and centred.  If you’d like to have a chat about how yoga could support you, please get in touch.
